Indication
- Bacterial infections - Severe acne vulgaris - Respiratory tract infections - Urinary tract infections - Certain sexually transmitted infections - Rickettsial infections (e.g., Rocky Mountain spotted fever)
Ingredients
- Tetracycline Hydrochloride
Direction
Take orally on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Do not take with dairy products, antacids, or iron supplements.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Photosensitivity (increased sunburn risk)
- Fungal overgrowth (oral or vaginal thrush)
- Tooth staining in developing teeth
Precautions
- Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Not for children under 8 years
- Risk of permanent tooth discoloration
- Avoid direct sunlight or UV exposure
- Do not take with calcium/dairy products
