Indication
- Respiratory tract infections - Ear infections (Otitis media) - Skin and soft tissue infections - Tonsillitis and pharyngitis - Sexually transmitted infections (Chlamydia)
Ingredients
- Azithromycin
Direction
Take orally once daily, with or without food, for the full duration prescribed. Usually taken for 3 to 5 days depending on the infection.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Vomiting
- Dizziness or headache
Precautions
- Allergic to macrolide antibiotics
- History of liver disease
- Heart rhythm disorders (QT prolongation)
- Myasthenia gravis history
