Zyloric 200 mg

Indication

Treatment of chronic hyperuricaemia — including gout, urate/uric-acid kidney stones — and to prevent hyperuricaemia and tumour lysis syndrome during the treatment of certain malignancies.

Ingredients

• Allopurinol 200 mg

Direction

Oral use. Tablets should be swallowed whole with a large glass of water, after a meal. Dosage as prescribed by a physician. Prescription-only medicine (Liste I).

Side effects

• Skin rash
• Hypersensitivity reactions (including rare severe cutaneous reactions)
• Gastrointestinal disturbances
• Elevated liver enzymes
• Headache

Precautions

• Respect the prescribed doses. Prescription
• only medicine.
• Do not use during pregnancy unless no therapeutic alternative is available.
• Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
• Discontinue immediately and seek medical attention if rash or hypersensitivity reaction occurs.
