Indication
Used for type 2 diabetes mellitus as prescribed by a clinician.
Ingredients
- Metformin hydrochloride 500 mg
Direction
Use by mouth exactly as prescribed by a clinician, usually with meals.
Side effects
- Nausea
- diarrhea
- abdominal discomfort
- or metallic taste may occur.
- Rarely
- lactic acidosis may occur and requires urgent medical attention.
