HI-DINE 10%

Indication

Topical antiseptic and disinfectant used for the disinfection of superficial wounds and burns, skin antisepsis before surgical procedures, and first-aid treatment of minor skin wounds. For external use only.

Ingredients

• Povidone Iodine 10%

Direction

Clean the affected area. Apply diluted 1/10 with water or sterile saline for wound irrigation, or 2% in sterile saline for wound irrigation. Apply a small amount to the zone 1 to 3 times per day. May be covered with a sterile dressing. For pre-operative use, follow medical instructions.

Side effects

• Potential skin irritation or allergic reactions in some persons. Some cytotoxicity may occur at mucosa and deep tissue level
• as well as localized skin reactions (caustic dermatitis and contact eczema).

Precautions

• For external use only. Do not use in eyes or apply to large body surfaces. In case of deep wounds
• animal bites
• or severe burns
• consult a physician. Stop use and consult a doctor if a reaction occurs. Use with caution in situations that may lead to systemic absorption
• especially in children under 30 months. Contraindicated in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Keep out of reach of children.
