Indication
Clamoxyl is a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, ear infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and dental infections caused by susceptible organisms.
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin 500 mg
Direction
Take one capsule every 8 hours (three times daily) as directed by your physician. Swallow whole with a glass of water. May be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Skin rash
- Allergic reactions (rare but serious)
Precautions
- Inform your doctor of any known penicillin or beta
- lactam allergy before use
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not store above 30°C
- Store in a dry place
- Complete the full course of antibiotics even if symptoms improve
