Indication
Clarinom is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract (pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis), skin and soft tissue infections, and H. pylori eradication as part of combination therapy.
Ingredients
- Clarithromycin 500 mg
Direction
Take one tablet twice daily with or without food for the prescribed duration. Swallow whole with water.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal pain
- Altered taste
- Headache
Precautions
- Inform your doctor of any macrolide allergy
- Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment
- May interact with certain medications including statins and anticoagulants
