Aspirine EPHAC 500 mg

Indication

Aspirine EPHAC 500 mg is a gastro-resistant aspirin used for symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever, and for the management of rheumatic conditions.

Ingredients

• Acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin) 500 mg

Direction

For adults only. Usual dose for pain/fever: 1–2 tablets, repeat if necessary after 4 hours, not exceeding 6 tablets per day. For rheumatic conditions: 2 tablets every 6 hours. Swallow tablets whole with a large glass of water. Do not crush or chew.

Side effects

• Gastric irritation
• nausea
• vomiting
• Gastrointestinal bleeding (with prolonged use or high doses)
• Allergic reactions including bronchospasm
• Tinnitus and hearing problems at high doses

Precautions

• Reserved for adults — not recommended for children or adolescents with fever
• Do not use in case of peptic ulcer

• Avoid during pregnancy especially in the third trimester
• Keep out of reach of children
• Store below 30°C
