Instacid 20 mg / 1100 mg

Indication

A combination proton pump inhibitor and antacid used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, and conditions where rapid acid suppression along with immediate acid neutralization is needed. The sodium bicarbonate component provides immediate relief while omeprazole provides prolonged acid suppression.

Ingredients

• Omeprazole 20 mg
• Sodium Bicarbonate 1100 mg

Side effects

• May cause headache
• nausea
• diarrhea
• abdominal pain
• or flatulence. Long
• term use may affect magnesium levels. Sodium bicarbonate may cause alkalosis with high doses.

• Store below 30°C. Protect from heat
• light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. High sodium content from sodium bicarbonate — use with caution in patients on low

• those with hypertension
• heart failure
• or renal impairment.
