Indication

Pregabalin is used for the management of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia, adjunctive therapy for adult patients with partial onset seizures, and management of fibromyalgia.

Direction

As directed by the physician. Take with or without food. Do not abruptly discontinue; taper gradually.

• somnolence
• ataxia
• weight gain
• blurred vision
• peripheral edema.

Precautions

• May cause dizziness and somnolence. Avoid alcohol. Use with caution in patients with renal impairment. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you. Keep out of reach of children.
