AUGXICINE 625 mg (500 mg / 125 mg)

Indication

AUGXICINE 625 is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by beta-lactamase-producing organisms, including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and dental infections.

Ingredients

• Amoxicillin trihydrate 500 mg
• Clavulanic acid (as potassium salt) 125 mg

Direction

Take orally as prescribed by a physician. Usual adult dose: 1 tablet (625 mg) every 8–12 hours with food. Complete the full prescribed course.

Side effects

• Diarrhea
• nausea
• vomiting
• Skin rash or urticaria
• Elevated liver enzymes (rare)
• Anaphylaxis (rare but serious)

Precautions

• Do not use in case of allergy to penicillin or cephalosporins
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment
• Keep out of reach of children
• Store in a dry place
