Indication
Bromhexine P.P.M is a mucolytic agent that facilitates expectoration by reducing the viscosity of mucous secretions in the respiratory tract. It is used in the treatment of respiratory diseases with thick, tenacious mucus secretions.
Ingredients
- Bromhexine hydrochloride
Direction
Take as directed by your physician. Usual adult dose: one tablet (8 mg) 3 times daily.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Gastrointestinal discomfort
- Skin rash
Precautions
- Not for use in patients with known hypersensitivity to bromhexine
- Use with caution in peptic ulcers
