Indication
An aminoglycoside antibiotic injection used for the treatment of serious bacterial infections including septicemia, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and other serious gram-negative bacterial infections.
Ingredients
- Gentamicin 80 mg
Direction
For intramuscular (I.M.) or intravenous (I.V.) use. Dosage as directed by physician. Store in cold and dry place.
Side effects
- Nephrotoxicity
- ototoxicity
- neuromuscular blockade.
Precautions
- Nephrotoxic and ototoxic. Use with caution in patients with renal impairment. Monitor renal function and hearing during treatment. Keep out of reach of children. Not for self
- administration.
