Ketoway-200 200 mg

Indication

A potent fungistatic, broad-spectrum antifungal agent effective in serious fungal or yeast infections. Used for the treatment of systemic fungal infections including candidiasis, dermatophytosis, and other susceptible fungal infections. Decreases inflammatory signs associated with fungal infections.

Ingredients

• Ketoconazole 200 mg

Direction

Dosage as directed by the physician. Take with food to improve absorption and reduce gastrointestinal side effects.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• vomiting
• abdominal discomfort
• headache
• pruritus
• and rash. Rare hepatotoxicity has been reported.

Precautions

• Keep the medicine out of reach and sight of children. Store below 30°C
• in a cool and dark place
• protected from direct sunlight. Use under medical supervision only. Not recommended for patients with liver disease.
