Dafalgan Codeine 500 mg / 30 mg

Indication

Dafalgan Codeine effervescent tablets are used for the relief of moderate to severe pain that is not adequately controlled by paracetamol or NSAIDs alone.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Codeine phosphate 30 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents 15 years and older: 1 to 2 tablets dissolved in water every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Maximum 6 tablets per day. Not recommended for children under 15 years.

• drowsiness
• dizziness
• and risk of liver damage with overdose may occur.

Precautions

• Contains codeine
• an opioid. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Risk of dependence with prolonged use. Avoid in patients with respiratory depression
• asthma
• or head injury. Not for use in patients who are ultra
• rapid codeine metabolizers. Do not take other paracetamol
• containing medicines simultaneously.
