EFFERALGANMED Pédiatrique 30 mg/ml

Indication

Relief of pain and fever in children aged 3 months to approximately 32 kg. Indicated for headaches, influenza-like symptoms, toothache, and fever of various origins.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 30 mg/ml

Direction

Dose depends on child's weight. Fill the dosing syringe to the child's weight graduation in kg. Each dose corresponds to 15 mg of paracetamol per kg of body weight. The 90 ml bottle provides 180 doses of 15 mg/kg. Do not use for more than 6 months after first opening.

Side effects

• Nausea or vomiting (uncommon).
• Skin rash or allergic reactions (rare).
• Hepatotoxicity in overdose.
• Serious skin reactions (Stevens
• Johnson syndrome) — very rare.
• Thrombocytopenia (very rare).

Precautions

• Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol. Overdose may cause liver damage. Keep the dosing syringe out of reach of children. Read the leaflet before use.
