Deflux 10 mg

Indication

Deflux (Domperidone) tablets are used for the relief of nausea and vomiting, and for the symptomatic treatment of gastric motility disorders, bloating, and delayed gastric emptying.

Ingredients

• Domperidone 10 mg

Direction

Adults: 1 tablet (10 mg) three times daily, taken 15 to 30 minutes before meals. Do not exceed 30 mg per day. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Side effects

• Dry mouth
• headache
• diarrhea
• drowsiness
• and rarely
• cardiac arrhythmias may occur.

Precautions

• Do not use in patients with prolactinoma
• or mechanical gastrointestinal obstruction. Avoid in patients with cardiac arrhythmias. Not recommended for long
• term use. Consult a physician for use in elderly patients.
