Indication
DEXA-MS (Dexamethasone) tablets are used for the symptomatic treatment of allergic diseases, inflammatory conditions, and severe asthma.
Ingredients
- Dexamethasone 0.5 mg
Direction
As directed by a physician. The dosage varies depending on the condition being treated. Take as prescribed.
Side effects
- Insomnia
- increased appetite
- weight gain
- mood changes
- and with prolonged use
- adrenal suppression and Cushingoid features may occur.
Precautions
- Long
- term use may cause adrenal suppression
- osteoporosis
- hypertension
- and immunosuppression. Do not stop abruptly after prolonged use. Use with caution in patients with diabetes
- peptic ulcer
- or infections. Requires physician supervision.
