Indication

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults to improve glycemic control as an adjunct to diet and exercise. Also used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death in adults with type 2 diabetes and established cardiovascular disease.

• increased urination
• hypotension.

Precautions

• Keep all medicines away from children. Protect from sunlight and moisture. Not for use in type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Requires medical prescription.
