Esozia 40 mg

Indication

An acid reducer (proton pump inhibitor) used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid-related disorders, peptic ulcers, and heartburn.

Ingredients

• Esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate (equivalent to Esomeprazole 40 mg)

Direction

As directed by the physician. Swallow gastro-resistant tablets whole; do not crush or chew.

Side effects

• Headache
• Diarrhoea and abdominal pain
• Nausea and flatulence
• Dry mouth
• Constipation
• Dizziness
• Peripheral oedema
• Allergic reactions: rash (uncommon)

Precautions

• Keep out of reach of children. Store protected from light and moisture at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
