Doxycap 100 mg

Indication

Doxycap 100 mg capsules (Doxycycline USP) is a broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible organisms including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted infections (chlamydia, gonorrhea), acne, malaria prophylaxis, and Lyme disease.

Direction

As directed by the physician. Typically 100 mg twice daily or as prescribed. Take with food or milk to reduce GI upset. Take with plenty of water.

Side effects

• Nausea

• diarrhea
• photosensitivity
• esophageal irritation.

Precautions

• Not for use in children under 8 years
• pregnant women
• or breastfeeding mothers. Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Keep out of reach of children.
