Indication

DIAREAL (Diosmectite) is used for the symptomatic treatment of pain and diarrhea associated with digestive disorders. It acts as an intestinal adsorbent, protecting the gut mucosa.

Ingredients

• Diosmectite 3 g

Direction

Adults: 1 sachet dissolved in half a glass of water, taken 3 times daily. Mix immediately before use. For acute diarrhea, the dose may be increased to 6 sachets per day for the first 3 days. Children: as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Constipation may occur with high doses.

Precautions

• If diarrhea persists for more than 48 hours
• or is accompanied by fever or blood in stool
• consult a physician. Take other medications at least 2 hours before or after diosmectite as it may reduce their absorption.
