Indication
Madolac is indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute pain, including post-operative pain. It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing prostaglandin synthesis.
Ingredients
- Ketorolac Tromethamine
Direction
Take as directed by your physician. Usually one tablet every 4 to 6 hours. Do not exceed the prescribed dose or duration.
Side effects
- May cause gastrointestinal upset
- nausea
- headache
- dizziness
- drowsiness
- and increased risk of bleeding. Serious side effects include gastrointestinal bleeding and renal impairment.
Precautions
- Not recommended for patients with peptic ulcer
- renal impairment
- or hypersensitivity to NSAIDs. Avoid use in patients with bleeding disorders. Do not use for more than 5 days.
