Indication

VIT K1 Injection (Phytomenadione) is used for the treatment and prevention of hemorrhagic conditions caused by vitamin K deficiency, including anticoagulant drug overdose, hypoprothrombinemia, and neonatal hemorrhagic disease.

Ingredients

• Phytomenadione 10 mg

Direction

Administer by intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection as directed by a physician. Dosage is determined by clinical need and response.

Side effects

• Pain or swelling at injection site
• Flushing
• sweating
• or dizziness (with rapid IV injection)
• Allergic reactions (rare)
• Hypotension with rapid IV administration

Precautions

• Administer slowly when given intravenously to minimize adverse reactions
• Use with caution in patients with liver disease
• Inform your doctor of all medications you are taking
