Telfast 120 mg

Indication

Telfast 120 mg is a non-drowsy antihistamine indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above, including runny nose, sneezing, itchy and watery eyes, and itchy nose or throat. Provides 24-hour relief.

Ingredients

• Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 120 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents 12 years and above: take 1 tablet (120 mg) once daily. Swallow whole with water. Take before meals. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Side effects

• Headache
• Drowsiness (less likely than older antihistamines)
• Nausea
• Dizziness

Precautions

• Not recommended for children under 12 years without medical advice
• Use with caution in patients with severe kidney disease
• Avoid taking with antacids containing aluminium and magnesium hydroxide
