Indication

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and chronic stable angina pectoris. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker used to lower blood pressure and reduce the frequency of angina attacks.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine Besylate USP equivalent to Amlodipine 10 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Do not exceed the indicated dose. Read the enclosed package insert before use.

Side effects

• Peripheral oedema (ankle swelling) — common.
• Flushing
• headache
• dizziness.
• Palpitations
• tachycardia.
• Fatigue
• somnolence.
• Nausea
• abdominal pain.
• Rare: severe hypotension
• exacerbation of angina at initiation.

Precautions

• Do not exceed indicated dose
• Keep out of reach of children
