Zentel 200 mg

Indication

Treatment of intestinal worm infections including roundworm (Ascaris lumbricoides), hookworm (Ancylostoma duodenale, Necator americanus), whipworm (Trichuris trichiura), pinworm (Enterobius vermicularis), and tapeworm infections. Also used for hydatid disease and neurocysticercosis.

Ingredients

• Albendazole 200 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 2 years: Take 2 tablets (400 mg) as a single dose with or without food. For hydatid disease and neurocysticercosis, take as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• abdominal pain
• headache
• dizziness
• elevated liver enzymes may occur rarely.

Precautions

• Not for use during pregnancy. Avoid in patients with hypersensitivity to albendazole or benzimidazoles. Keep out of reach of children.
