Omeprazole Injection 40 mg

Indication

Used for treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and other conditions associated with excess acid secretion. Administered intravenously when oral therapy is not possible.

Ingredients

• Omeprazole Sodium B.P. equivalent to Omeprazole 40 mg (as Lyophilized Powder)

Direction

For IV use only. Dissolve the contents of the vial with Sterile Sodium Chloride Injection B.P. and use immediately. Dosage as directed by the Physician. If any foreign particle is visible in the vial after reconstitution of contents, do not use the solution.

Precautions

• For IV use only — not for intramuscular or subcutaneous injection
• Administer only under medical supervision
• Inspect visually for foreign particles before administration
• Do not use if solution is cloudy or discolored
• Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C — do not allow to freeze
• Keep out of reach of children
