Indication
TRISOL Gel (Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% w/w) is a high-potency topical corticosteroid indicated for the relief of inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses, including severe eczema, psoriasis, lichen planus, and other resistant skin conditions.
Ingredients
- Clobetasol Propionate USP 0.05 g per 100 g gel
Direction
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening) and rub in gently. Treatment should not exceed 2 consecutive weeks. Do not use under occlusive dressings unless directed by a physician. Wash hands after use.
Side effects
- Skin atrophy (thinning) with prolonged use
- Burning
- itching
- or irritation at application site
- Stretch marks
- Adrenal suppression with excessive or prolonged use
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any adverse effect occurs
Precautions
- NOT FOR OPHTHALMIC USE — do not apply near or in the eyes
- FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY
- Do not use for more than 2 consecutive weeks without medical review
- Avoid use on the face
- groin
- or underarms unless directed
- Not recommended for children without specialist medical supervision
- Read the inside leaflet carefully before use
- Keep out of reach of children
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- stop if irritation or allergic reaction occurs
