Indication
Potent antiulcer agent indicated for acute chronic pain, gastritis, duodenal ulcer, oesophagitis, and stomachache of dyspepsia during radiotherapy.
Ingredients
- Oxethazaine
- Dried Aluminum Hydroxide Gel
- Magnesium Hydroxide
Direction
Adults: 1/2β1 pouch (1 pouch = 10 mL) 4 times a day. Not recommended for children.
Side effects
- Constipation (from aluminium hydroxide component)
- Diarrhoea (from magnesium hydroxide component)
- Nausea or abdominal discomfort
- Local anaesthetic effect of oxethazaine may mask pain symptoms
- Aluminium accumulation in patients with renal impairment (prolonged use)
Precautions
- Please see insert paper for contraindications and side effects. Keep out of reach of children.
