Vertidom 20 mg / 15 mg

Indication

Vertidom Tablets are indicated for the treatment of vertigo (dizziness) associated with vestibular disorders, including Meniere's syndrome, labyrinthitis, and motion sickness. The combination of cinnarizine (antihistamine and calcium channel blocker) and domperidone (antiemetic) provides relief from vertigo, nausea, and vomiting.

Ingredients

• Cinnarizine BP 20 mg
• Domperidone (as Domperidone Maleate BP) 15 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Take with water. Typically administered orally 2 to 3 times daily with food to reduce gastrointestinal side effects.

Side effects

• Drowsiness or sedation (cinnarizine effect)
• Extrapyramidal symptoms with prolonged use of domperidone
• Nausea or gastrointestinal discomfort
• Dry mouth

Precautions

• Avoid driving or operating machinery if drowsiness occurs
• Use with caution in patients with Parkinson's disease
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment
• Not recommended for long
