Meperine 10 mg

Indication

Meperine (Domperidone) is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of discomfort associated with reduced gastric motility, gastroesophageal reflux, and esophagitis including symptoms such as fullness, bloating, belching, nausea, and vomiting. Also indicated for nausea and vomiting in adults and adolescents 12 years and older weighing more than 35 kg.

Ingredients

• Domperidone 10 mg

Direction

Take 1 tablet 1 to 3 times daily, 15 minutes before meals. Adults and children over 12 years weighing more than 35 kg. Treatment should not exceed 1 week without medical advice.

Side effects

• May cause dry mouth
• headache
• abdominal cramps
• diarrhea. Rarely
• cardiac arrhythmias and elevated prolactin levels may occur. Consult a doctor if unexpected symptoms occur.

Precautions

• Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to domperidone
• or in conditions where gastric stimulation may be dangerous. Use with caution in patients with cardiac disease. Keep out of reach of children. Requires medical advice.
