Indication

Rectal laxative for the relief of constipation in infants and young children. Acts locally in the rectum to soften and lubricate stools for easy evacuation.

Ingredients

• Sorbitol 70% crystallisable
• Sodium citrate
• Sodium laurilsulfoacetate 70%

Direction

For rectal use only. Do not swallow. Insert the nozzle into the rectum and squeeze the tube. Use as directed by a physician or pharmacist.

Side effects

• Mild rectal or anal irritation
• Mild burning sensation upon administration
• Bloating or flatulence — uncommon
• Diarrhea if used in excess
