Indication
Rectal laxative for the relief of constipation in infants and young children. Acts locally in the rectum to soften and lubricate stools for easy evacuation.
Ingredients
- Sorbitol 70% crystallisable
- Sodium citrate
- Sodium laurilsulfoacetate 70%
Direction
For rectal use only. Do not swallow. Insert the nozzle into the rectum and squeeze the tube. Use as directed by a physician or pharmacist.
Side effects
- Mild rectal or anal irritation
- Mild burning sensation upon administration
- Bloating or flatulence — uncommon
- Diarrhea if used in excess
Precautions
- For rectal use only — do not swallow
- Keep out of reach of children
