Welmox 500 mg

Indication

Welmox 500 mg capsules are a broad-spectrum antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis), ear, nose and throat infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and other infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

• Amoxicillin Trihydrate B.P. equivalent to Amoxicillin B.P. 500 mg

Direction

Take as directed by a physician. The usual adult dose is 250–500 mg three times daily. Swallow capsules whole with water. Complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• or diarrhea
• Skin rash or urticaria
• Allergic reactions (including anaphylaxis — rare but serious)
• Yeast infections (oral or vaginal)

Precautions

• Inform your doctor of any penicillin or cephalosporin allergy before use
• Complete the full prescribed course
• do not stop early
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
• Inform your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding
• Keep out of reach of children
• Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place
