Wormin 100 mg/5 ml

Indication

Wormin Suspension is an anthelmintic (antiparasitic) used for the treatment of intestinal worm infestations including threadworms (pinworms), roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and common worm infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

• Mebendazole 100 mg/5 ml

Direction

Take as directed by a physician. For threadworm: 5 ml (100 mg) as a single dose; the dose may be repeated after 2 to 3 weeks. For other worm infestations: 5 ml (100 mg) twice daily for 3 consecutive days. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Abdominal pain or discomfort (transient)
• Nausea or diarrhea (rare)
• Allergic reactions (rare)

Precautions

• Not recommended in the first trimester of pregnancy
• Inform your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding
• Shake well before each use
• Keep out of reach of children
• If irritation or allergic reaction occurs
