Indication
Vitamine B6 (Pyridoxine HCl 250 mg) is indicated for prophylaxis and treatment of vitamin B6 deficiency states due to reduced dietary intake, often used in association with other B vitamins. Also used in drug-induced neuropathies and as adjunct in certain anemias.
Ingredients
- Pyridoxine Hydrochloride
Direction
Take orally with a little water. Adults: 1 to 4 tablets of 250mg per day. Children: 1/2 to 2 tablets of 250mg per day. Dosage as directed by physician.
Side effects
- Peripheral neuropathy with prolonged high doses. Rare: nausea
- headache at high doses
- photosensitivity.
Precautions
- Do not exceed recommended doses to avoid peripheral neuropathy. Inform your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep out of reach of children. See the notice inside the box for full precautions.
