Indication
- Respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia) - Ear, nose and throat infections (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis) - Skin and soft tissue infections - Genital infections (non-gonococcal)
Ingredients
- Roxithromycin 150 mg
Direction
Usually 150 mg twice daily or 300 mg once daily, taken before meals on an empty stomach, as directed by a doctor.
Side effects
- Nausea
- vomiting
- abdominal pain
- Diarrhea
- Headache
- dizziness
- Skin rash
Precautions
- Tell your doctor about any macrolide antibiotic allergy
- Use with caution in liver impairment
- May interact with ergot alkaloids and certain other drugs
- Complete the full prescribed course
