Indication
- Inflammatory skin conditions (corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses) - Skin conditions complicated by bacterial infection - Skin conditions complicated by fungal infection (e.g. tinea, candidiasis)
Ingredients
- Betamethasone dipropionate + Gentamicin + Clotrimazole (cream)
Direction
Apply a thin film to the affected and surrounding skin twice daily, in the morning and at night, or as directed by a physician. For external use only.
Side effects
- Local burning
- itching or irritation
- Skin dryness or redness
- Skin thinning (atrophy) with prolonged use
- Folliculitis or contact dermatitis
Precautions
- For external use only
- avoid contact with eyes
- Avoid prolonged use
- especially on the face or under occlusive dressings
- Not recommended for long
- term use due to gentamicin component
- Discontinue if irritation or sensitisation occurs
