Indication
- Burns and scalds - Chronic and decubitus (pressure) ulcers - Slow-healing or slow-granulating wounds - Skin infections (eczema, pyoderma, impetigo, furunculosis)
Ingredients
- Placenta extract 10% + Neomycin sulfate 0.5%
Direction
Apply the gel thinly to the affected area 4-6 times daily, or as directed.
Side effects
- Local irritation or burning sensation
- Allergic skin reactions
- Contact dermatitis (neomycin sensitivity)
Precautions
- For external use only
- Avoid in patients allergic to neomycin
- Prolonged use over large areas may risk neomycin absorption (oto/nephrotoxicity)
- Discontinue if irritation or sensitization occurs
