Panadol 500 mg

Indication

Relief of mild to moderate pain (headache, migraine, muscle ache, dental pain, earache, musculoskeletal pain, dysmenorrhoea, sore throat, pain after vaccination) and fever (associated with cold, flu, respiratory tract infections, osteoarthritis).

Ingredients

• Paracetamol

Direction

Oral administration. Adults and children 12 years and over: 500 mg to 1000 mg (1-2 tablets) every 4-6 hours, maximum 4000 mg in 24 hours. Children 6-11 years: 250 mg (6-8 years) or 500 mg (9-11 years) every 4-6 hours, maximum 4 doses in 24 hours. Minimum dosing interval 4 hours. Not recommended for children under 6 years.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to paracetamol or excipients.
• Do not exceed the stated dose.
• Not recommended for children under 6 years.
• Do not use if blister is broken.
