Indication
Helps to reduce symptoms related with gastric hyperacidity, stomach upset, nausea, flatulence, heartburn, gastric and duodenal ulcer, and gastritis.
Ingredients
- Aluminium Hydroxide Dried Gel
- Magnesium Hydroxide
- Simethicone
Direction
Adults: 1-2 sachets, 3-4 times a day. Children (6-12 years old): 1 sachet, 3-4 times a day. Shake before use. Take immediately once symptoms occur and repeat 30-60 minutes before or after meals and before bedtime.
Side effects
- Constipation
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Vomiting
Precautions
- Do not use for patients with serious kidney failures which may cause hypermagnesia.
- Not recommended for treatment more than 2 weeks
- unless recommended by physician
- which may cause dependence of gastric function.
- Antacids are known to inhibit the absorption of Tetracycline
- Cimetidine
- etc. So 1
- 2 hours gap should be applied between taking Antacids and the drug.
- Not recommended for children under 6 years old.
- Not suitable for patients with low phosphorus diet for long term use
- since antacid lowers phosphorus level in blood.
- Should not be used in patients who are severely debilitated or suffering from renal insufficiency
- or if there is severe abdominal pain and/or the possibility of bowel obstruction and hyperacidity.
