Indication

- Emergency contraception after unprotected intercourse - Prevention of pregnancy following contraceptive failure

Ingredients

• Levonorgestrel 1.5 mg

Direction

Take one tablet by mouth as soon as possible, ideally within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.

Side effects

• Nausea and vomiting
• Headache and dizziness
• Lower abdominal pain
• Irregular or delayed menstrual bleeding
• Breast tenderness

Precautions

• Not for routine or repeated contraception
• Does not protect against sexually transmitted infections
• Less effective if taken later than 72 hours after intercourse
• Seek advice if vomiting occurs within 2
• 3 hours of dosing
