Alswiss 20 20 mg

Indication

- Reduction of elevated total and LDL cholesterol and triglycerides - Primary hypercholesterolaemia and mixed hyperlipidaemia - Prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients

Ingredients

• Atorvastatin 20 mg

Direction

Take one tablet once daily, with or without food, at the dose prescribed by a doctor, together with a cholesterol-lowering diet.

Side effects

• Muscle pain or weakness
• Headache
• Nausea
• diarrhoea or constipation
• Raised liver enzymes

Precautions

• Avoid in active liver disease and during pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Report unexplained muscle pain
• tenderness or weakness promptly
• Limit grapefruit juice and use caution with interacting medicines
