Indication
- Reduction of elevated total and LDL cholesterol and triglycerides - Primary hypercholesterolaemia and mixed hyperlipidaemia - Prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients
Ingredients
- Atorvastatin 20 mg
Direction
Take one tablet once daily, with or without food, at the dose prescribed by a doctor, together with a cholesterol-lowering diet.
Side effects
- Muscle pain or weakness
- Headache
- Nausea
- diarrhoea or constipation
- Raised liver enzymes
Precautions
- Avoid in active liver disease and during pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Report unexplained muscle pain
- tenderness or weakness promptly
- Limit grapefruit juice and use caution with interacting medicines
