Indication

- Stimulation of appetite - Allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis - Pruritus and allergic skin conditions including urticaria

Ingredients

• Cyproheptadine hydrochloride 2 mg/5 mL

Direction

Children 2-6 years: 5 mL two to three times daily; children 7-14 years: 10 mL two to three times daily; adults: 10 mL three to four times daily, or as directed by a doctor.

Side effects

• Drowsiness and dizziness
• Dry mouth
• Constipation
• Blurred vision or urinary retention

Precautions

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Avoid in glaucoma
• urinary retention and elderly debilitated patients
• May impair driving
• avoid alcohol and other sedatives
