Indication

- Relief of heartburn and acid indigestion - Symptomatic relief of gastric hyperacidity - Discomfort from gastritis and peptic ulcer due to excess stomach acid

Ingredients

• Aluminium hydroxide 300 mg

Direction

Usually one to two tablets, chewed, taken between meals and at bedtime or as directed by a physician. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Side effects

• Constipation
• Nausea or stomach cramps
• Chalky taste
• With prolonged use: low phosphate levels

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment due to aluminium accumulation
• May reduce the absorption of other medicines
• separate dosing by about 2 hours
