Indication
Esome 20 mg is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and to eradicate Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics.
Ingredients
- Esomeprazole Magnesium 20 mg
Direction
Take 1 capsule once daily, preferably 30–60 minutes before a meal, or as directed by a physician. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew.
Side effects
- Headache
- Nausea
- abdominal pain
- Diarrhea or constipation
- Flatulence
- Stop use and consult a physician if unusual reactions occur.
Precautions
- Prolonged use may reduce magnesium and Vitamin B12 levels — monitor as advised by a physician.
- Inform your physician if symptoms do not improve after treatment.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are unsure about suitability.
