Ceftriaxone Sodium-OCP 1 g

Indication

Ceftriaxone is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used for serious infections including septicaemia, meningitis, pneumonia, bone and joint infections, intra-abdominal infections, urinary tract infections, and gonorrhoea.

• Ceftriaxone Sodium BP equivalent to Ceftriaxone 1 g

Direction

Administer by intramuscular or intravenous injection as directed by physician. See package insert for full prescribing information.

• Elevated liver enzymes

Precautions

• For hospital/clinical use
• administer under medical supervision.
• Do not administer to patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillins.
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
