Selecap-200 200 mg

Indication

Celecoxib (Selecap-200) is a NSAID/selective COX-2 inhibitor used for osteoarthritis (200 mg daily), rheumatoid arthritis (100–200 mg twice daily), acute pain, and dysmenorrhoea. Also used for adenomatous colorectal polyps (400 mg twice daily) as prescribed by physician.

• Celecoxib BP 200 mg

Direction

For osteoarthritis: 200 mg daily. For rheumatoid arthritis: 100 to 200 mg twice daily. For pain and dysmenorrhoea: initial 400 mg followed by 200 mg if needed. Or as prescribed by the Physician.

Precautions

• Not recommended in patients with sulfonamide allergy.
• Use with caution in cardiovascular disease — NSAIDs may increase cardiovascular risk.
• Avoid in late pregnancy.
• Keep out of reach of children.
