Rovista 10 mg

Indication

Treatment of hypercholesterolaemia and mixed dyslipidaemia as an adjunct to diet when response to diet and other non-pharmacological treatments is inadequate. Also used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events.

Ingredients

• Rosuvastatin 10 mg (as calcium salt)

Side effects

• Headache
• Myalgia
• Nausea
• Abdominal pain
• Rarely: myopathy or rhabdomyolysis

Precautions

• Use as directed by physician only.
• Inform your doctor of all medications you are taking.
• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Monitor liver function during therapy.
