Indication
Ondansetron is a selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist used for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and post-operative nausea. For intravenous use only.
Ingredients
- Ondansetron 2 mg/mL (Ondansetron Injection USP)
Direction
For intravenous use only. Administer as directed by a physician. Each box contains 10 x 2 mL ampoules.
Side effects
- Headache
- Constipation
- Flushing
- QT interval prolongation (rare)
- Hypersensitivity reactions
Precautions
- For intravenous use only β not for oral use.
- Administer under medical supervision.
- Use in pregnancy only if clearly necessary.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Prescription required (Rx).
